Who runs it
All Roadside Assistance is built and run by people who understand the industry. The site is written from the dispatcher's side of the phone: what to know before you call, and which answers get a truck rolling faster.
Where the listings come from
Listings start from public business records and OpenStreetMap, then get checked against each business's own published hours, phone and address. A listing only appears in search results once it has verified hours, a real description, or a review; incomplete records stay out until they're filled in. When a business claims its listing, the owner's edits replace the imported data.
How claiming works
A shop proves it owns a listing by entering a one-time code sent to the phone number already on that listing. No email, no password. From there the owner can correct hours, description, website and service area, and see how often drivers viewed and tapped the listing.
What's free and what's paid
Every listing is free, and free listings rank by distance like everything else. Pro listings add photos and a website link. Sponsored placements put a shop at the top of its metro and category page, rotated with the other sponsors and always labeled "Sponsored." Paying never changes a listing's position in the organic list.
What we don't do
We don't dispatch, quote, or take a cut of repairs. The call goes straight to the shop. We don't publish rates for any specific business.
