Drivers, dispatchers and fleet coordinators search for a problem in a place, land on our city, interstate, exit and problem pages, and call a provider straight from the listing. This page explains exactly how listings are ordered and what each option costs, so you can decide how visible you want to be.

The order of the list
Every area page shows providers in four sections, from top to bottom:

Paid sections are labeled. Nobody can pay to change the order inside the free section, which is always sorted by distance, closest first.
Free listing
A free listing is the starting point for every provider. It includes your business name, phone number, address, hours and services, and it places your business on the city, interstate and exit pages that cover your area, sorted by distance. Owners can edit details such as towing classes, payment methods and fleet accounts accepted.
What a free listing does not include: photos, and any placement above the free section. Free listings always appear at the bottom of the page, closest first.
A free listing makes sense for a new business, a business that already has more work than it can handle, or anyone who wants to see the directory before paying for anything.
Pro: $99 per month per listing
Pro moves your listing out of the free section and into the Pro section, which sits above every free listing. Pro listings rotate within that section, so no single Pro provider is permanently stuck at the bottom of it or permanently at the top.
One Pro listing covers all of the service categories that location offers. A shop that does truck repair, tire service and towing from one address pays for one Pro listing, not three.
Pro costs $99 per month per listing, or $990 per year.
Sponsored: an add-on on top of Pro
Sponsored is for providers who want to sit above the Pro section for a specific service in a specific area. The details:
- Sponsored requires Pro. It is an add-on, not a separate plan.
- There are two Sponsored spots per service per area.
- Spots are won by the highest monthly bid.
- Sponsored is sold per category per area. A shop that wants Sponsored placement for both mobile repair and towing bids on each separately.
- Starting bids vary by city size. We do not publish fixed minimums.

Platinum: invite only
Platinum is the top of the list. Platinum providers rotate through first place. It is not sold to anyone who asks and it is not open to bidding. All Roadside invites the top providers in each area, roughly the top 10 percent, based on answered calls, driver feedback and service quality. There is no public price.
The way to earn an invitation is to do the work well: answer the phone, show up when you say you will, and treat drivers fairly. Driver feedback on listings is one of the signals we use.
How service areas work
Each listing covers its home town plus a set radius:
- Shops: home town plus 25 miles.
- Mobile repair and towing: home town plus 30 miles.
If you cover more ground than that, add another listing in another town. A mobile mechanic who runs a long stretch of interstate might keep one listing near each end of the route. Each listing is priced separately.
Which option fits your business
- You want to be found and you are just starting: list free, answer every call, and watch where your calls come from.
- You want more of the calls in your area: Pro puts you above every free listing for all of your location's services, for $99 per month.
- You want first-screen visibility for one service in a competitive city: add a Sponsored bid on top of Pro for that service and area.
- You want the top spot: earn it. Platinum invitations go to the providers drivers and dispatchers rate best.
Questions owners ask
Do I have to pay to be listed? No. Listing is free.
Can I cancel Pro? Pro is billed monthly, or yearly at $990. Contact us about billing questions before you sign up.
Does paying change my reviews or feedback? No. Payment buys placement in a labeled section. It does not change driver feedback.
What if my business is already in the directory? Many businesses are already listed. Claim your listing to take control of it, then upgrade if you want.
